No. We are a loan broker/matching platform. Once we match you with a lender, all loan decisions, terms, and agreements are between you and that lender directly.

Yes. We use 256-bit SSL encryption to protect your personal and financial data. We do not sell your information to third parties outside of our lending network.

Yes. Applying through Maple Loan Hub is completely free. Lenders in our network pay us a referral fee — you are never charged to use our matching service.

About Eligibility

Any Canadian resident who is 18 years of age or older (19+ in some provinces), has a regular source of income, and holds an active Canadian chequing account.

Yes. Many lenders in our network specialize in lending to borrowers with poor or no credit history. While your credit score may affect your rate, it will not necessarily disqualify you.

Yes. Self-employment income is accepted. You may need to provide recent bank statements as proof of income.

Yes. Regular government income is generally accepted as qualifying income.

Yes. Some lenders in our network serve newcomers who may not yet have an established Canadian credit history.

About the Loan Process

The application form typically takes 3–5 minutes to complete.

Submitting a matching request through Maple Loan Hub typically involves a soft inquiry, which does not affect your credit score. Your matched lender may perform a hard inquiry when you proceed with a full application — this is standard practice.

Most approved applicants receive funds via Interac e-Transfer within 1–2 hours of signing their loan agreement during business hours. Timing may vary by lender.
